Property Networking Club Launch, Wolverhampton
A new networking club aimed at people working in or interested in the property sector was launched in Wolverhampton.
The Property Networking Club (PNC) opened at the Mount Hotel, Tettenhall Wood, on Thursday evening May 22. The club was formed by a group of local professionals including Mark Evans, Managing Director of Wolverhampton based Tildesley & Tonks chartered accountants and business advisors, and Sally Lawson, Director of Lawsons the letting agents, also in Wolverhampton. PNC advisors include Gregg Davies, an independent mortgage adviser; Martin Dodd, of Midlands Investment Agency and Surbjit Kurmar, solicitor and partner in Rowland, Tildesley and Harris of Willenhall.
“PNC has been formed to give people in our sector the opportunity to meet and network with other property investors, developers, advisers and professionals as well as expanding their knowledge by trading experiences with other like-minded people”, said Mark Evans. “There will also be regular guest speakers from related sectors with the idea of giving our members a chance to meet new contacts but also to learn more from the experts.”

Many of the attendees operate as independents so PNC is a perfect opportunity for them to meet fellow professionals in the property sector.”
Sally Lawson said: “We wanted to give our clients the opportunity to meet regularly with other clients within the property sector, and the idea for PNC grew from that. We aim to offer networking opportunities and regular seminars on a variety of subjects.” Following a welcome and introduction from Sally Lawson. the speaker for the launch evening was Iain Binsley, from The Mortgage Works, who gave an insight into the credit crunch from a lender’s perspective and his views on what is happening in the mortgage markets to help delegates sort fact from fiction.
